The Essential Tee is the workhorse of most collections we produce. At 180 GSM it is substantial enough to hold a print cleanly without feeling heavy in warm climates, which matters if you sell into both Northern Europe and Southeast Asia from the same SKU.
We pre-shrink the fabric and use a side-seamed construction, so the body keeps its shape rather than twisting after the first few washes.
Construction detail
- Side-seamed body with twin-needle hems at sleeve and bottom
- Self-fabric taped neck, shoulder-to-shoulder
- 1×1 rib collar with elastane for recovery
- Optional tear-away label for private label programmes
Decoration notes
Screen print gives the best hand-feel at volume and is our recommendation above 300 pieces. Below that, DTG is more economical because there are no screen setup costs. Embroidery works on the chest and sleeve but we advise against it on the back panel at this weight.
